Cuba

Since 2007, Floris UMC/Restoration has sent mission teams to Cuba annually through United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM). Our teams focus primarily on rebuilding and constructing new churches. We also provide spiritual support to the Methodist Church of Cuba. Construction teams work throughout the country, wherever the need is greatest.

The opportunities in Cuba go beyond helping to build and repair churches, though. You can participate in the life of a local church by attending worship services, group dinners, and Bible study. We also have time to visit local sites in Cuba!

Our next mission trip to Cuba is February 17-26, 2023. The Visa process takes about three months, so we would like to identify teams by mid-September.
